Celebrating Our First Three Paper Fox Scrapbooking Weekends of 2025

What a year it has been for Paper Fox! When we first opened our doors in 2019, we welcomed just 18 lovely ladies to our very first scrapbooking weekend. Fast-forward to 2025 and our events have grown beyond anything we could have imagined. This year alone, across our March, June and September retreats, more than 220 crafters have joined us—with each weekend hosting 70–80 scrapbookers who gather for laughter, crafting, friendship and plenty of treats. And with one more retreat still to come in November, the fun isn’t over yet!

Growing With Our Crafters

We started Paper Fox weekends as a simple Friday-evening-to-Sunday retreat. But as our community grew, so did the requests—one of the biggest being: “Can we arrive earlier on Friday?”So, the Friday Kick Starter was born! Now everyone can choose whether to begin their weekend on Friday morning or Friday evening, giving crafters more flexibility and more precious creative time.

Every step of our growth has been shaped by our guests, and we love that.

Affordability at Our Core

One thing that will never change is our commitment to keeping Paper Fox weekends accessible for all budgets. Whether guests simply want a scrapbooking space or prefer to add kits, stay at the hotel, or pick up goodies from our craft shops—everyone can tailor the weekend to suit their needs.

Our home base at the Holiday Inn Coventry gives guests the option to stay on-site or commute, without missing out on the fun.

Theme Nights: Letting Our Hair Down

One of the most-loved traditions of our retreats is our Saturday Theme Night—an hour or two of pure silliness and joy where guests can dress up, pose for photos, dance around and celebrate the lighter side of life.

This year’s themes have been a huge hit:

• March: Flower Power

• June: The 80s

• September: Back to School

Seeing dozens of ladies dressed up, laughing together, and embracing the theme is one of the highlights of our year. It’s a moment where we all get to step away from everyday life and just enjoy being playful.

Shopping, Crafting and Connecting

No Paper Fox weekend would be complete without our craft shops, giving guests the chance to browse, buy and discover new goodies for their projects. Whether you’re hunting for that perfect paper or stocking up on essentials, our shops add an extra layer of excitement to the weekend.

And with each retreat, the sense of community grows stronger. It’s more than scrapbooking—it’s connection, creativity, and shared memories.

The UK’s Largest Scrapbooking Retreats

It still feels surreal to say it, but Paper Fox is now proudly the largest scrapbooking retreat in the UK. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the incredible women who attend, support, and help shape our events.
